When my daughter came home for Xmas this past year after moving to LA, I thought it would be a good time to pin her down as far as her website goes, i.e. what she wants it to look like, what she would like shown, etc. etc. There never seemed to be enough time though, with all of the chick flicks we had to catch up on and the friends she had to visit.

While looking for plug-ins, I stumbled upon this post in a blog written in some language I couldn’t understand. But, was able to trace the images to the original author at College Humor and had to share.

Just recently I played around with Adobe’s Flash Catalyst, Beta 2 release. Adobe touts this as a “professional interaction design tool” for creating interactive content in Flash without writing code. This is the second and a series of posts I’ll be adding that encompass setting up a WordPress blog. My first attempt at setting up my own went pretty well. I was able to quickly identify the areas I needed to update in order for my blog to match my website. So that I could see each element in action, I used the “Default” theme that came with WordPress, and then modified the templates and stylesheets to match my website. I’m not using “pages” within WordPress, although I could.

Ok, here’s the scoop. I’m still in the development phase of my blog, trying out different things, and styling it to look how I want it to look. In going through the nuts and bolts of my WordPress blog, I’m finding it very easy to use and manipulate. So that I might include a tutorial on setting up WordPress the way I’d like it to look, the following are descriptions of the files and basically what they do.
